Harlequins 9-7 Sale
Quins get a rolling maul going for the first time this evening as they surge into the Sale 22.
Force a couple more penalties as they kick for touch and repeat the tactic.

Harlequins 9-7 Sale
Manu Tuilagi gets a chance to stretch his leg with ball in hand across the halfway line but Quins are there to cover in defence.
Cagey stuff again in the middle third of the pitch as nobody can get a swift move going.
Time for some first changes of the night as Sale change their hooker and tight-head prop.
Harlequins 9-7 Sale
Sale win a penalty on halfway after Quins infringe at the scrum.
Touch found on the 22 but then the line-out move breaks down as the ball goes loose.
Some disappointed looks on the faces of Faf du Klerk and Tom Curry as someone failed to execute the training ground move.
Byron McGuigan, con R du Preez
Try time!
Sale get it which is exactly the start they were after to this second half.
Move across the line from the visitors from the top of the line-out from left to right and eventually, it's shifted out to Byron McGuigan on the right wing to charge over from 12 metres out.
Rob du Preez notches over the conversion for his first points of the night.
Game on!

And we're back under way as Quins get us restarted.

Half-time Covid-19 protocols in action.
Not long to go now until the action resumes at The Stoop.
Who are you excited to see return?
Nathan Boyd: Can't wait for the Semi-Bears! We aren't 'Bris anymore but with Pat at the helm we are an inspirational, attacking, off-loading juggernaut. We've got the pack to smash them and a back line to scare and run through them. Where are you Bath?

England World Cup winning scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra
We've seen a decent amount of intensity considering these players have not played, this is a first proper game of rugby against a different opposition to somebody in house and fair play to them, they are fronting up.
Some of the hits and tackles are going in, there's definitely no love lost which is fantasic to see.
We just need to see it a little bit more composed in the second-half, get the ball into the backs, we've hardly seen the backs with the ball in hand, they've got the ball and just kicked down field .
I'd like to see more running rugby.

Fireworks launched off the pitch when Marcus Smith slotted over each of his three successful penalties, but they've been few and far between on it so far.
Harlequins 9-0 Sale
And that's it for the first half of the Premiership's restart.
Not been a classic for sure and there's probably been more unforced errors than moments of class.
Another missed shot at goal from Rob du Preez.
That looked easier to score than miss and just about sums up Sale's first half.
Harlequins 9-0 Sale
Catch-and-drive Sale line-out and some phases finally deep in Quins territory as we play added time at the end of this first half....
Harlequins 9-0 Sale
It's getting a bit heated out there every time a scrum has to be reset.
Luke Pearce having several words with the packs and then as a Quins scrum does break away we get a bit of pushing and shoving going on.
Sale penalty as they look to find touch deep in Quins' 22 before the break.
Harlequins 9-0 Sale
Sale in front of their own posts with the scrum and bravely they win the penalty as Joe Marler drives too early.
Clearance upfield to touch and then a Faf du Klerk box kick but here comes Nathan Earle again.
Great pace when in full flight and his burst through almost take shim all the way on his own into the Sale 22. Scrambled Sale defence eventually sees them dot it down in their in-goal area.
Harlequins 9-0 Sale
Here's some attacking running rugby at last from Quins.
A nice chip kick out from Marcus Smith from his own 22 gets it started, Chris Ashton and Nathan Earle then exchange es to move it deep into Sale territory but Mike Brown then can't find the right running line on the inside to get past the last couple of Sale defenders.
Better.
Marcus Smith
And as Sale conceded their 10th penalty for coming in at the side of a ruck, Harlequins and Marcus Smith notch over their third score.
Faf de Klerk was the cuplrit on that occasion for Sale.
Harlequins 6-0 Sale
Penalty, restart, penalty, restart, penalty.
Not a lot of building up of phases so far in this one.
Difficult to see either side building up momentum as the infringements clock up.
Harlequins 6-0 Sale
It's a very disted game I have to say so far.
Not been free-flowing for either side sadly and the handling errors have been frequent.
It's also clear to see the players having to come to grips with trying to move the ball quickly at the breakdown before Luke Pearce the referee penalises them for holding on.
Rob du Preez has the distance, but not the direction with that right-footed effort from around 40 metres back as it drifts to the right of the posts.
Silence around The Stoop as Quins prepare for the 22-metre drop out to restart.
Harlequins 6-0 Sale
Sale with a response after that second penalty with some phases of possession finally.
Penalty forced against Quins this time and Rob du Preez will take a shot at goal...
