FT: St Mirren 0-1 St Johnstone
St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "First half, we totally dominated the game. St Johnstone got into our half once. But we didn't have enough creativity.
"We should draw that game and the games we should be drawing, we're losing. That's why we are where we are at the moment, in limbo. We've not cemented anything in the top six and we're still looking over our shoulder. The reason for that is huge inconsistency from one week to the next.
"It's hard, after you win 3-0 with such a convincing performance at Aberdeen, to make changes. But that's what's needed in certain games so, that's totally my fault."

FT: Dundee 0-6 Heart of Midlothian
Dundee manager Tony Docherty tells BBC Scotland: "I think to describe that for me is anomaly. I don't know where that came from. We had such strong performances heading into the game.
"When you concede goals as cheaply as we did today, it drains confidence. Hearts caught us on a bad day and they had a good day. These things happen.
"For all the credit we got for recent performances, we now deserve a lot of criticism and I deserve a lot of criticism because I lead the group. I apologise to the Dundee fans. The players will be in tomorrow morning to address that.
"I did not see that type of performance coming. You could see the confidence draining as the game went on. I was a bit surprised."

FT: St Mirren 0-1 St Johnstone
St Johnstone manager Simo Valakari tells BBC Scotland it was his plan to contain St Mirren in the hope of striking after the break and thinks the win gives his side renewed hope of escaping bottom spot.
"Everyone knows our situation," he says. "Football is simple. We need to win these matches and, even more, we need to concentrate on our performance, try to play our way.
"We need to try to compete, be hard to beat. All these things, we did today. That gives us the possibility to win.
"If you come here and try to play a basketball game with this team, you're not going to win. We did very well with the ball first-half.
"We didn't create, but we took the momentum out. We knew it would open up second-half. Stay solid, defend and we will get the chance."
Critchley 'not surprised' at Shankland performancepublished at 17:34 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

FT: Dundee 0-6 Heart of Midlothian
Hearts head coach Neil Critchley tells BBC Scotland: "It is not often you win away from home in the fashion we have done today. Some of the goals we scored were fantastic goals. We were clinical on the break and we kept the clean sheet, which is always a good sign."
Critchley says Lawrence Shankland, who scored the opener, had been threatening to break his recent poor run in training.
"Maybe he just needed that little break to freshen himself up physically and mentally," he says. "He has looked sharper in his mind in training. It is no surprise he scored like that today."
Of two-goal Elton Kabangu, Critchley adds: "He is a terrific guy. Brilliant person to have around every day. He is so positive. Brilliant with his team-mates, a humble guy and a constant threat. He wants to score goals."

Pressure is even more on the hosts, who are now only four ahead of St Johnstone at the bottom after the Perth side's win in Paisley.

St Johnstone pulled off an unexpected victory against St Mirren thanks to Bozo Mikulic's bundled strike - and boosted their hopes of Scottish Premiership survival.
Simo Valakari's bottom side had won their previous league game and move to within four points of Kilmarnock, who host Dundee United later.
The Perth side dominated possession throughout in Paisley, but struggled to create any chances. They didn't have a single shot in the first half and had only had two efforts before the goal.
It was a set piece that ended up being St Mirren's undoing - something Stephen Robinson pointed out as a weakness pre-match - as they failed to adequately clear a corner with defender Mikulic steering into the bottom corner - his second later winner in a row.
St Mirren had plenty of chances and even had the ball in the back of the net through Greg Kiltie, but the goal was chalked off for a foul in the build-up.
St Mirren drop down to eighth in the table.
Valakari's plan comes together, but only just
St Johnstone travelled from Perth to Paisley with confidence given their recent performances against Motherwell and they played like a team with absolute confidence in the plan.
Or rather, a sheer unwillingness to adapt the plan. Only Elliot Watt had more touches than Ross Sinclair in goal, or Sven Sprangler, Barry Douglas or Mikulic in defence.
For large spells, they spent more time on the ball but they were always under pressure. It was like St Mirren were setting traps, and St Johnstone were tip-toeing dangerously close to them.
At times, they relied on the hosts' mercy in front of goal and had to absorb a lot of pressure. But Sinclair, back in goals for the first time since September, did well deputising in the sticks.
The team still looks a little patched together - the back three includes a left-back and a central midfielder - but they seem to have gelled quickly and Sprangler, who has worn the armband for the past few games, has taken to the role well.
Robinson predicts St Mirren's own downfall
"We've conceded way too many set plays and too many individual errors," the St Mirren boss said pre-match. It was like he knew.
The only chances St Johnstone had up until that point had been a long-range strike from Graham Carey, that was immediately followed by Makenzie Kirk's header.
St Mirren's defending had all come from the front as Mikael Mandron and Toyosi Olusanya pressed and pressed, and while they did force chances and looked dangerous on the counter, the final ball was desperately lacking.
That's now three home games on the spin that have ended in defeat - to Dundee, Dundee United, and now St Johnstone.
With the league this tight, they need to address their home form quickly or else they'll keep sliding down the way.
What they said
St Johnstone boss Simo Valakari: "If you come here and try and play a basketball game with this team, you're not going to win. We did very well with the ball first-half.
"We didn't create but we took the momentum out. We knew it would open up second-half. Stay solid, defend, and we will get the chance.
St Mirren's Stephen Robinson: "I didn't think we had enough invention and I take ultimate responsibility for that. We've got to force the game and make something happen and we haven't been able to do that. I've obviously picked the wrong team.
"It's hard, after you win 3-0 with such a convincing performance at Aberdeen, to make changes. But that's what's needed in certain games so, that's totally my fault."
St. Mirren have won each of their last three league meetings with St. Johnstone, as many as their previous 10 beforehand (W3 D4 L3).
St. Johnstone are winless in their last 10 league visits to St. Mirren (D4 L6), losing each of their last three in a row.
After only losing three of their opening 10 home league games this season (W5 D2), St. Mirren have since lost both of their last two on home soil.
St. Johnstone have lost five of their last six away league outings (D1), including their last three in a row. The Saints last suffered four successive away league defeats in January 2022.
St. Mirren’s Toyosi Olusanya has scored seven goals in the Scottish Premiership this season, suring his tally for the whole of last term (6). However, only against Celtic (6 games) has Olusanya played more games in the competition without scoring than his five against St. Johnstone.
