SECOND HALFpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 23 April 2024
#bbcefl
Cheltenham, Bradford and Doncaster are 45 minutes away from big, big wins.
Do Peterborough, Barrow and Colchester have anything to say about that?
Doncaster are on course for a 10th straight league win if they hold on to this advantage.
That would equal a club record set in the 1946-47 season. They finished that campaign as Division Three North champions.

All games kick-off at 15:00 GMT
A quick recap of the final regular season fixtures in League Two this Saturday.
The games in bold are the ones with something riding on them.
Five teams are chasing three play-off spots, while two clubs are battling to avoid relegation.
Colchester 1-2 Doncaster
An exciting half at the JobServe Community affecting both ends of the table.
Colchester were winning and safe, but those Luke Molyneux and Harrison Biggins goals have Doncaster heading for a 10th straight league win, which would take them sixth.
HT: Cheltenham 2-0 Peterborough
Mark Halliwell
BBC Radio Gloucestershire summariser
The job is half done; that has got to be the message. Cheltenham need the same intensity and mindset.
They can't relax.
Barrow 0-1 Bradford
Bobby Pointon's goal separates the sides at the break.
It is keeping Bradford in the hunt for the play-offs, and keeping Barrow on tenterhooks about their spot.
Cheltenham 2-0 Peterborough
So far, so good for the Robins...
Joe Nuttall gave them a dream start, bundling in after the keeper had parried a Liam Sercombe shot on 10 minutes and Matty Taylor's classy touch and finish midway through the half gave the hosts a thoroughly deserved two-goal lead at the interval.
A reminder that should they win tonight, Town will take their survival battle to the final day of the season. Burton and Cambridge fans will be following the second half nervously, you'd expect.
Cambridge 0-0 Wycombe
Somehow it remains goalless at the break, though Wycombe have hit the woodwork twice and home dangerman Gassan Ahe has had several sights of goal.
Cambridge 0-0 Wycombe
Another half-chance goes begging, for the hosts, this time.
James Brophy pinches possession and finds Gassan Ahe but his effort from inside the box is deflected narrowly wide of Franco Ravizzoli's goal
Barrow 0-1 Bradford
Bradford have to win, their goal difference is not the best, so any more goals would be welcome.
Calum Kavanagh with another chance for them and Paul Farman saves his shot on the turn.
Colchester 1-2 Doncaster
Another chance for the home side to equalise.
Noah Chilvers crosses to the back post where Jayden Fevrier meets it and Thimothee Lo-Tutala keeps it out.
Cheltenham 2-0 Peterborough
A timely reminder of Peterborough's quality.
Jonson Clarke-Harris and Ricky-Jade Jones combine well down the left and Jones blazes away before opting to shoot rather than cross to Malik Mothersille, only for his angled low effort to roll inches past Luke Southwood's far post.
Barrow 0-1 Bradford
That goal from Bobby Pointon is keeping Bradford's top-seven hopes alive.
But with Doncaster winning, they would be two points behind tonight's opponents Barrow in that final spot.
Cambridge 0-0 Wycombe
Tell you what, the goals are leading a charmed life already tonight, aren't they?
Wycombe have hit the frame of the goal for a second time in the first half, this time Kieran Sadlier's long-range pop is tipped onto the base of the upright by sprawling United keeper Will Mannion.
Cheltenham 2-0 Peterborough
David Ajiboye has fizzed a shot over for the visitors but it's Town who are back on the front foot and Matty Taylor has come close to a second, and a 3-0 lead.
His shot on the turn in the box has come back off the upright and moments later Elliot Bonds' fierce drive is saved low to his right by Posh stopper Nicholas Bilokapic who has had a very busy night indeed, and we've only played 35 minutes.
Bobby Pointon (29 mins)
The Bantams needed a goal...
And Bobby Pointon, with his third of the season, has provided it.
A corner is cleared to Pointon just inside the area, and bang! He cracks one into the net giving goalkeeper Paul Farman no chance.
Cue limbs in the away end behind the net.
Cambridge 0-0 Wycombe
Dangerman Gassan Ahe has planted a tough headed chance wide for Cambridge at one end, while Wycombe have come close through a deflected effort from the edge of the box from Josh Scowen at the other.
End-to-end stuff at the Abbey.
Colchester 1-2 Doncaster
The to-and-fro in this match continues and it's up to Doncaster goalkeeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala to preserve the advantage.
He comes up with a big save to deny U's striker John Akinde.
Barrow 0-0 Bradford
As things stand with Doncaster winning, Bradford HAVE to win this match to keep alive their play-off hopes.
And they have a big chance to go ahead as the ball drops to Calum Kavanagh no more than seven yards out.
But he shoots wide of Paul Farman's goal.
