Meet the cast of the new Famous Five series

A new series of the Enid Blyton's Famous Five is coming to CBBC this week.

The Famous Five books first came out in 1942, and follow five daring young explorers as they go on action-packed adventures, uncover mysteries, face danger and discover incredible secrets.

The series features four young actors who play siblings Julian, Dick and Anne and their cousin George, plus Timmy the dog.

Ricky caught up with the Famous Five actors to find out more about the series.

Episode one is out on Saturday 9 December at 5:25pm on CBBC and BBC iPlayer. It will also air on BBC One between Christmas and New Year.

Two more episodes of The Famous Five will follow in 2024.
