Brodie Spencer has won nine caps for Northern Ireland

Huddersfield Town have taken up an option to extend full-back Brodie Spencer's contract until the end of the 2025-26 season.

The 20-year-old Northern Ireland international was entering the final year of his deal.

He made 21 appearances for the Terriers last season after being recalled from a loan spell at Scottish Premiership side Motherwell in January.

Town, who were relegated to League One in May, start the new campaign away at Peterborough on Saturday.
