QPR sign Ashby on loan from Newcastle

Harrison Ashby was involved in Newcastle United's pre-season tour of Japan

Queens Park Rangers have signed Harrison Ashby on a season-long loan from Newcastle United.

The 22-year-old right-back moved to St James' Park from West Ham in January 2023 before moving to Swansea on loan last summer.

"There is only one place that I wanted to come and I am really excited for what’s ahead," Ashby told QPR's website.

Meanwhile, full-back Reggie Cannon has had his QPR contract terminated by mutual consent.

United States international Cannon made 21 appearances after leaving Portuguese side Boavista as a free agent in June 2023.
