Aston Villa sign Netherlands winger Grant from Ajax

Chasity Grant is Aston Villa's sixth g of the WSL transfer window

Aston Villa have signed Netherlands winger Chasity Grant from Ajax for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old moves to the Women's Super League side on a three-year deal, subject to Football Association approval and international clearance.

The Netherlands international made more than 100 appearances for Ajax after ing in 2020.

Villa manager Robert de Pauw said: "Chasity is a fast winger with lots of pace. She can play on both sides and is also able to play as a striker or wing-back.

"She has earned her stripes in the Netherlands, winning everything there was to win.

"She is a player I believe will suit the WSL with her style of play and I look forward to working with her and seeing her shine in front of our amazing ers."
