Blackburn Rovers have signed Liverpool defender Billy Koumetio and Orlando City striker Duncan McGuire on loan with Sheffield United midfielder John Fleck ing on a short-term deal.

Koumetio, 21, ed Liverpool from Orleans in 2018 and has gone on to make two senior Reds appearances.

McGuire, 22, s with the option to make the move to Ewood Park permanent at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Fleck, 32, made 278 Blades appearances and s to the end of the campaign.

"With Hayden Carter's injury, we wanted to add pace and physicality. Billy brings both of those attributes to us," said director of football Gregg Broughton.

"Quick, with good movement and a great finisher, Duncan has all of the attributes needed to follow in the footsteps of the many great strikers who have worn our famous colours."

McGuire was a first round draft pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft and subsequently ed Orlando where he finished as the club's top scorer with 15 goals in all competitions, making his USA debut earlier this year.

Since g in 2016, Fleck helped Sheffield United win promotion from League One as well as twice winning promotion to the Premier League.
