Tom Nichols made a total of 55 appearances for Gillingham

Mansfield Town have signed forward Tom Nichols from Gillingham for an undisclosed fee on a 18-month deal.

The 30-year-old has scored three goals in 32 appearances for the Gills this season.

Nichols, who has previously played for Exeter, Peterborough and Bristol Rovers, ed Gillingham in January 2023 from Crawley.

He s an injury-hit Stags squad, with forwards Rhys Oates and James Gale among seven players out.
