Nicky Adams, Alan McCormack and Steve Arnold sign for Northampton Town

Nicky Adams helped Northampton win the League two title in his previous spell with the club in 2015-16

Northampton have signed midfielders Nicky Adams and Alan McCormack on free transfers and Shrewsbury goalkeeper Steve Arnold for an undisclosed fee.

Adams, 32, who has signed a two-year deal, left Bury at the end of last season after helping them win promotion to League One.

McCormack, 35, has signed a one-year deal after winning League One with Luton.

Arnold, 29, has also signed a two-year contract with the Cobblers
