Author Sarah Moss on her novel, Ripeness, set in rural Italy and Ireland across two different timelines. Ceramic artist Mella Shaw on her exhibition Sounding Line, which features a series of sculptures made with whale bone ash inspired by the shapes of whale's tiny inner ear bones. The exhibition highlights the impact of the overuse of marine sonar on mass beaching of whales and other cetaceans.
