Walford's residents turn out to pay their respects to Heather, but Shirley makes it clear Andrew is not welcome. Meanwhile, Michael comes to a decision about Janine's prenup.
A white hearse containing Heather’s pink coffin arrives in the Square. Ben stashes the bloodied frame, now in a rucksack, under a bush. Dot packs away Heather’s wedding dress. Phil stops Ben and Jay arguing. Billy gives Shirley Heather’s things from Butcher’s ts. As the funeral cortege departs, Shirley insists Andrew, Dot, Rose and Cora aren’t welcome at the church. Entering the church, holding Ben’s hand, Shirley discovers half of Walford waiting inside. DS Crisp is there. Lola runs out, emotional, during Shirley’s eulogy. During Ben and Jay’s reading; Ben starts apologising to Heather’s coffin and Phil and Jay fear he’s about to confess. Ben apologises to Shirley for ruining the reading and she holds him while he cries. Dot leads private prayers at home. Standing over Heather’s grave, Shirley promises to make Andrew suffer. Andrew stands outside Heather’s flat, willing her to appear. Phil tells Ben to pull himself together. Shirley heads for Dot’s brandishing a screwdriver and demands Andrew come out and face her. Dot talks to Shirley about Ethel. Crisp calls for back up; Mitchell’s at the wake. At the Vic, Billy makes a drunken toast. Ben panics when he sees Alfie rifling through his rucksack, but manages to reclaim it. Outside, Shirley smiles when Heather’s happy music plays and the glitter cannon explodes. Shirley finds Heather’s train ticket. Realising Andrew’s innocent and Heather was planning to leave her, Shirley cries and Andrew comforts her. Crisp walks into the Vic. Phil, Jay, Ben and Lola watch in horror as Billy’s arrested and taken away on suspicion of murder.
Janine gives Michael the pre-nup and thinks he’s stalling when he mentions consulting his brief. Michael tells Jean the pre-nup’s so picky a judge would throw it out. Michael tells Janine he’ll sign; they fire Janine’s new glitter cannon in celebration.
