Increasing defence spending 'right thing to do' - Benn

NI Secretary Hilary Benn has said the government's decision to increase defence spending is the right thing to do.

Benn said that a government's first responsibility is to protect the nation.

He said Labour's decision was necessary as the world has become more dangerous and more uncertain.
