Pudsey flies in to meet children on Fair Isle

Pudsey Bear has made a special visit to one of the most remote island communities in Scotland.

Fair Isle lies half way between Shetland and Orkney and has a population of just 50 people.

The Shetland community has helped raised over £1m since the Children in Need Appeal began in the 1980s.

This year, three Shetland organisations are benefiting from grant funding worth £70,000 three times the amount raised locally by the appeal.
