Car in Gorleston crashes into postbox outside Spar shop

CCTV showed the moment a car narrowly avoided a mobility scooter and crashed into a postbox.

The grey Ford Fiesta appeared to mount the pavement, knock over an advertising column and then come to a stop outside a Spar convenience store in Gorleston.

Nobody was believed to be seriously injured in the incident which happened just after 10:30 BST on 20 May.

Part of the High Street was cordoned off while emergency services attended.
