Previous versions of Jersey laws are available to view online after a new website feature was launched.

The Jersey Legal Information Board (JLIB) and the Legislative Drafting Office (LDO) said it had set up the "point-in-time" area on the Jersey Law website to allow people to look at previous laws as far back as 1 January 2019.

The JLIB and LDO said the feature had been introduced to make it easier for legal professionals and of the public to conduct research and access historical information.

The project involved tagging and ing more than 3,500 legislative documents, the JLIB and LDO added.

Marcus Ferbrache, programme director for JLIB, said: "We've been working on point-in-time behind the scenes for many months and this launch is a significant milestone in our ongoing work to improve access to Jersey's statute and case law."
