Scooter rider seriously injured after hitting car

A 59-year-old man is in critical condition in hospital after the electric scooter he was riding crashed into a stationary car in Selsey.

The local man was seriously injured in the incident on the West Sands caravan park in Mill Lane at about 21:30 BST on Friday, said Sussex Police.

The force said no-one else was injured.

Witnesses and anyone with information have been urged to police.
