An easy, refreshing and zingy pea and mint dip perfect for tortillas chips, vegetable crisps or even as a replacement for guacamole.

Ingredients

  • 400g/14oz frozen peas
  • 150g/5½oz plain yoghurt
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ fresh red chilli, seeds removed and roughly chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, roughly chopped
  • 2 spring onions, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp roughly chopped fresh mint
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Place the peas and yoghurt into a blender and blend until smooth then tip into a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
