  1. Place a large frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the green beans, ½ teaspoon salt and 50ml/2fl oz water. Cook, stirring often, for about 3 minutes until the water has evaporated.

  2. Add the olive oil and cook for a further 2½ minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds more. Turn off the heat and squeeze over the lemon juice. Stir through the parsley and tip into a serving bowl. Serve warm.
