Make a solar system picture

Watch this video as Ben shows you how to make your very own solar system picture.

You will need
  • Black card or paper
  • Different sized sponges
  • Paintbrush
  • Different coloured paints

Step 1:

First we are going to make the stars in our solar system. For this you need to dip a dry paintbrush in to white paint, and using your finger, flick the paintbrush, so that the paint goes all over the black card.

Step 2:

Dip a sponge into any coloured paint you like and then dab the sponge on to the black card. Then keeping dabbing the different sized sponges in different coloured paint all over your card to fill in your solar system with multi-coloured planets.

Step 3:

Once you are happy with your picture, leave it to dry and then you can display it somewhere nice.
