How to print your own t-shirt

Transfer your own dapper design onto a T-shirt with only crayons, sandpaper and some heat!

You will need
  • Wax crayons
  • Sandpaper (fine works best)
  • A T-shirt
  • An iron (and an adult to help with the iron)
  • A piece of baking paper (to protect the iron)
Copy the fish template

Use crayons and sandpaper to create a design that can be transferred onto a T-shirt.

STEP 1

Using wax crayons, draw your design onto the sandpaper (you can draw any design you like or copy our fish template)

TIP: Press hard with the crayons to make sure there's lots of colourful wax on the sandpaper

STEP 2

Grab a grown up to help with the ironing part

STEP 3

Place your T-shirt on an ironing board with your sandpaper design face-down so the design is touching the T-shirt

STEP 4

Place a piece of baking paper over the sandpaper (to protect the iron)

STEP 5

Iron on top of the baking paper, pressing down to make sure the design transfers to the T-shirt

STEP 6

Carefully lift off the baking sheet and sandpaper to reveal your dapper designs
